What is EvoBoard?
EvoBoard is a hybrid loft storage and insulation system. Its unique patented dovetail connections ensure a tight fit and a strong, even storage area, all while insulating the area to current standards.
What is EvoBoard made from?
EvoBoard is made from high-density Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), offering both structural and thermal performance. EvoBoard is 100% recyclable.
Is EvoBoard good for the environment?
EvoBoard is made from EPS, which is 98% air. EvoBoard is lightweight, which helps reduce fuel consumption during transportation compared to other heavier materials like timber. EPS is HFC, CFC, and HCFC free, meaning no harmful gases are used.
Does EvoBoard meet UK Building Standards?
Yes, EvoBoard is independently assessed and certified by third-party UKAS accreditation body KIWA, and it meets all current UK Building Standards.
Are there any items I should not store on EvoBoard?
Like all EPS products, you need to avoid solvents coming into contact with EvoBoard. These include things like solvent-based paints or chemicals. Also, avoid ‘point loading’—heavy weight with a sharp leading edge. Distribute weight evenly when possible.
Can I add additional insulation as well as EvoBoard?
Yes, we can install additional insulation alongside EvoBoard for even better energy efficiency. Just let us know you are interested in additional insulation when you get in touch to book your free home survey.
Are there any grants available to help cover the cost of additional insulation?

Can you install lighting in my loft as part of the service?
Yes, we offer professionally installed loft lighting as part of our service. Our team will install wired-in pendant lights or other lighting solutions, ensuring full visibility and usability of your loft. The installation is handled by qualified electricians to meet all safety standards, giving you peace of mind that your loft is both functional and well-lit.
Are loft hatches included in the installation service?
If you choose to add a loft hatch, it will be installed by our professional team during the installation. We ensure that the hatch is seamlessly integrated with the loft boards and provides easy, secure access to your loft. The installation is completed to the highest standards, with a focus on both functionality and aesthetics.
Can I add accessories later if I change my mind?
Absolutely. If you decide to add accessories after your initial installation, we can schedule a visit to install any additional items you require.

What happens after I approve the quote?
Once you approve the quote, we’ll work with you to schedule a convenient installation date. Our team will arrive on the agreed date and complete the installation, usually within a few hours.
What should I do to prepare for the installation?
There’s very little preparation required on your part. We recommend clearing the loft space of any items to allow our team to work efficiently. We also offer a loft clearance service (starting from £270) if you need assistance with this. On the day, our surveyor will give you specific guidance based on your loft’s condition.
How do I pay for the installation?
Payment is made after the installation is complete and you’re satisfied with the work. We offer a secure and straightforward payment process, which our team will explain to you and be able to answer any questions you may have.
Do you offer loft clearance as a service?

Technical
Maintenance
EvoBoard is designed to offer long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance.
How does EvoBoard stay in place?
EvoBoard is designed with small recesses to sit on the timber joists. In addition, the system can be fixed to the joists if needed.
How long does EvoBoard last for?
EvoBoard will not rot and has no nutritional value for pests, so it will perform in the property for the lifetime of the building, as long as it is not damaged in any way. EPS thermal performance does not deteriorate over time, ensuring long-lasting performance.
How do I maintain EvoBoard?
EvoBoard requires no maintenance, just ensure it is kept dry.
How do I keep EvoBoard clean?
EvoBoard does not require cleaning but can be wiped with a damp cloth if needed. Do not use any solvents on EPS.
What do I do if EvoBoard gets damaged?
In the unlikely event this happens, a replacement panel can be installed. Simply contact us and we’ll discuss options with you.
Can EvoBoard be removed if I move house?
Yes, this can be done, but you must consider that removing it will remove the insulating properties from the area.
